Dr. Hollar and our staff believe in complete dentistry, which includes re-engineering the bite when necessary. Providing functional, comfortable, quality, long-lasting, and aesthetic dental care is our goal.

education

We are committed to providing the greatest value to our patients by seeking the highest level of dental education in both functional and aesthetic dentistry. In addition to having more than 2,000 hours of advanced study, Dr. Hollar herself is an educator. She is a visiting faculty member at the prestigious Pankey Institute and The Scottsdale Center for Dentistry, teaching both the functional and aesthetic aspects of dentistry and sharing her knowledge with dentists from around the world.

Dr. Hollar is accredited by the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and is one of fewer than 320 dentists worldwide to achieve this level of excellence. The American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry has over 6,000 members and is recognized as the leading organization dedicated to excellence in aesthetic dental restoration. Continuing education is also a priority for all of Dr. Hollar’s staff members. Each staff member attends a minimum of six days per year outside of the office, learning various aspects of restorative dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, practice management, dental laboratory procedures, and hygiene advancements.

Only the finest dental materials and most advanced dental equipment are used, and every phase of our diagnostic and clinical work is done with the utmost care, skill, and knowledge. We utilize our own in-house dental laboratory, work with world-class porcelain technicians, and create some of the finest cosmetic and restorative treatments available.

Safety

We are committed to everyone’s safety and protection. All of us are concerned about the risk of exposure to infectious diseases such as AIDS, hepatitis, or herpes during the process of dental treatment. We are also sensitive to the newest HIPAA regulations, which keep our patient’s personal information confidential.

For your protection, our philosophy is this: If we can’t heat-sterilize it, we dispose of it. All OSHA, HIPAA, Bureau of Radiation Control, and public health regulations are met or surpassed in our office. We will gladly answer any questions about the methods we use to help ensure your health and safety.

On two occasions, our office has been recognized for its positive environmental impact on the City of Arlington.

Dr. Susan Hollar has assembled a world-class group of individuals that have surpassed the ordinary and who are extraordinary in their field. Besides using top dental ceramist from around the world, since 1990 Dr. Hollar has utilized an in-house dental laboratory, which is a true advantage over traditional dental offices. The in-house dental laboratory is especially helpful when creating complex dental reconstructions and when matching natural teeth to ceramic teeth. We are able to bring to each case extensive experience and consummate artistry, and most importantly, we provide those noticeable little extras that take a successful case and make it even better.
